Apple has announced it will reveal its new in-car iPhone system at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show this week. CarPlay is integrated into the car’s infotainment system and uses Siri to receive voice commands from the driver – such as playing music, dictating text messages or making phone calls. Lotus Group chief executive officer Dany Bahar has been suspended and is facing an investigation following an undisclosed conduct complaint. While there is no official word on the nature of the complaint against Bahar, the The Daily Telegraph reports that it might be related to expenses claimed by Bahar or a legal dispute surrounding renovations on one of two Norwich, England, rental homes paid for by Lotus. Bahar's suspension has heightened the uncertainty surrounding the future of the Lotus Group.
SRT is heading back to France with two identically prepared Viper GTS-Rs for the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 22-23. It will be the first time the marque has competed at the race since it won the GTS class three consecutive times, from 1998 to 2000. It will compete in the LM GTE Pro Class.
